A clearer healthcare enquiry page: a practical content checklist
A practical way to organise service information, clinician details and the next step on a healthcare website, without turning a general enquiry into a clinical intake.

The useful starting point
Help a visitor understand the service and the next step. Agree clinical content and sensitive-data handling with the responsible healthcare team before publication.
Start with the question the page must answer
Take one service page and list the questions a first-time visitor might bring: what the service covers, where it is available, who provides it and how to request information. Treat this list as a working hypothesis. Ask the clinic team which questions they actually receive, then compare that evidence with the page.
- Identify a content owner for service details.
- Use approved clinician information and genuine photographs with permission.
- Make location and contact instructions easy to find.
Illustrative example: a consultation enquiry
A page could explain the service, show the appropriate contact route and request only the details needed to return an enquiry. Clinical records, symptoms and documents may need a different approved system. Explain whether the next action requests contact or books an appointment; do not present an unconfirmed request as a reservation.
Review the complete handoff
Use synthetic details to check labels, errors, confirmation and the receiving workflow. Ask the team who reviews each request and how unsuitable or urgent enquiries are handled. Confirm any published instruction with the healthcare provider. General analytics should not receive clinical or free-text enquiry content. This checklist is a design method, not a clinical or legal assessment.
